Here are some impressions from the Teatum Jones AW 2011 Collection. London based designers Catherine Teatum and Rob Jones again chose weighty stuff for their collection’s theme – they were inspired by Elsie Knocker and Mairi Chisholm, two famous British women who survived the First World War.
The collection tells the story of these two brave women through a perfect harmony between the masculine and the feminine – men’s tailoring fabrics in dust–covered–blue together with youthful tones of stone and rose water washed silks.
